December is over!

I really can't believe this our last blog and so i have new blogs. With everything that happen such like the shooting at Clackmas Town Center and then the shooting at the elementary school. I am counting my blessings and praying for the new year.

Birthday celebration part 3

Today is my actual birthday and so we went out for breakfast and then we went to target to get some Christmas exchanged presents. We head over to my other family Christmas activity and so i am so thankful is done. It was weird that my birthday happen on the same day as this family gathering. They sang happy birthday and got down to opening presents. Of course I ended up with number 1 and did not get stolen from. I got a movie, dots, and pop corn maker along with a blanket!

Birthday celebration part 2

Today is both Christmas and birthday celebration. I am really happy that we get to celebrate it. Tomorrow is my actual birthday.

Today I got to celebrate my birthday actually 2 days before my birthday when I went out for lunch with Dorthry and the girls. Normally it's just me and her.

Family Celebration plans

So my family has three days to celebrate. Most of our family celebrate happens before Christmas and then the other side of our family happens during or afternoon. This year it was different because now it's the end of the year.

Babysitting adventures!

So I am getting to spend four days with babysitting. So tonight is my catch up on my blog!

What I got for Christmas?

As we are still doing the unwrapping for christmas: I got skirt, laptop case, nightpants, new photo case, turtles and so much more. I am making a youtube video soon when it's all done and over with.

Moving Blogs!

So I am trying to get all the blogs done before the end of the December 2012. I don't know how many I will end up with keeping them since I have deleted a lot of Blogs.

How do I feel about having my birthday so close to christmas?

I must say that this is the question that i get a lot because of the fact that my birthday is just five days after the birth of Jesus. I rather just say that it's good but sometimes I hate my birthday.

Alive or Dead?

Today is the first day of winter and the world was supposed to end at 3:11am and clearly that it did not end. I am so thankful to Jesus for this day and that his word is the only one that I have to live by.

In the light of the shooting!

Today all over my facebook wall there has been people that are worry about having their children go back to school. Fear is a part of life but it's also part of the devil. The shooting was part of God's will. His will should matter everything that you do.

I posted this on my facebook wall:
Dear Heavenly father, 
I just pray over all the parents that have children in school that you assume them that their children are safe in your hands. Because you have the plan for them. Lord, I just pray that you show the light of the faith and not the light of the fear. You are so amazing and that you have protected so many people this week with the tragic events. Lord I just pray that we accept this as your will and nothing else. Lord, the devil is trying to get into our heads with the fear and i just pray that you kicked that out of our head.

AMEN

10 days until Christmas

Today marks the 10 days until Christmas! I can't believe it! Seriously have no idea where the time has gone. My goal for the end of the year to have all my blogs together on this page!

School shooting

 Today we were given the news that there was a school shooting and then three parents came and got their children from school when they found out. I think with the shooting that we had three days ago fresh on our minds, it's causing panic.

I DO NOT think that anyone should be able to walk into a school that is supposed to be a safe place for students and staff to come to kill 27 people!

So yesterday and of course it's in a place that we don't know where it is but now we do...

The night ended up with me winning first place and of course that my mom "took" my five dollars of my winning!

In the last 24 hours........

In the last 24 hours, we have had shooting at the town center, high school going into to lockdown because a student bringing a gun to the school, a bomb threat in a middle school. What's next?!

Clackamas Town Center Shooting

Yesterday, I was supposed to meet my mom there but we changed to another place at the last minute. I'm glad that we did but I was not expecting to be email so much by my friends and family making sure that I was okay. I had just gotten over to Parkrose transit center when I saw three cop cars going there. I thought that it was to pull someone over. It was not until I got to Gateway when i found out what was going on. Someone had came into the mall and killed two people and then himself.  He injured a little girl. It just makes me thankful that we changed the meeting place.

Moving?

So my plans are for this weekend are to move the blogs from the old Life as a 22 year old to this one! It might take me awhile to do that because there is a lot of blogs!

Pearl Harbor!

Tomorrow will be the remember of Pearl Harbor attacks. I have been there two years and it's amazing to see that what happen there has been a part of our country. Now remind you that these are the photos that my family had taken on our trip so there are copyright on them

Will Ministry still be there in my life?

Hope Alive Ministry?
Honestly, I loved writing for the site and the blog. I was giving advice and praying for those that needed it. When Bayley removed from admin on both the facebook page and blog it kind of made me feel used. Truthfully if Bayley did not removed me last week. I would have done it myself. I did not feel God in that ministry so why be part of it? I tried to stay into it and make it be more about God then what it was turning out. So I guess that means that I am closing that door (ministry) in my life today.

What's new?
I decided to start writing for Passion for the Lord and Hope for the furture with the Lord. They will be 100% about the Lord and not for other things. They will also be about praying and helping others.

Why locked the door?

I don't understand why a church of God would locked out the people that run this church and leave them outside in the cool. I thought that this church was supposed to be a dangerous church and not a church that locks out their volunteers. 

God's will!

Lately I have been doing more of God's will rather then doing my will. It's so hard to start doing that more. As my first 4 months of bible study ends, I am changing the way that I do it.

1. Write down the bible verse in a notebook

2. Write down your thoughts and feelings of the verse

3. Highlight the verse in the bible

4. Pray about the bible Study for that day!

That should be the way that I am starting 2013 with my first full year of bible study.

December is here!

Today I am finally getting used to not being part of ministry that I loved to write for. I started my own ministry on the 27th and I am trying to get it up and running. It's hard starting a new ministry when I was praying to have it ran with Hope Alive Ministry but right now I don't think it's going to happen.
There is a lot of things that I have going for me and I have so many blogs to write this month.
