Almost six years in Burton

In the first month of the new year, I will be celebrating the sixth year at Burton and I can't believe it. It's so hard to think that this is the first year that I did not celebrate with the teacher that I started for.

I am pretty sure that tonight's bunco was the worse bunco score that I have ever had. I had only five wins until the third to last game and then I managed to pick up seven more wins and walked away with one bunco and last place.

The two times that I went to Hawaii, I visited Pearl Harbor with my family. Words can't explain how I truly felt about it. It was so hard to think that many people lost their lives while serving our country so many people take it for granted that this is what happen to us and how much we need to be united! I can't believe that November is over and that means that we have a lot of things to do to get ready for Christmas and the beginning of 2015.

This first week of December is going to be so long and that means that I had to get up so early! I normally don't get up until 9am but today I have to get up 8:30am. I normally have to do my laundry on Saturday but I ended up having to do that yesterday!

many people that go to my church have asked me why I haven't gone to church lately. My mom is having surgery in a little over a week and pretty much the month of November I haven't been going to church. I love the church but it is important to make sure that my mom stays healthy

Everyone wants to know when the Christmas countdown starts and let me tell you even we even try to do it before December 1st then it would be hard.

Bus barn field trip!

Today, I got to go on the Bus barn field trip with the kids and have my Friday as my Monday and it was good! I love being with the kids!

My reaction to Obama's speech!

I have a response from Obama's speech about the people that are not legal citizens. I think that it's truly not right. I feel that it's wrong because there are people coming into our country illegal and now that he wants to focus on the people that are doing crimes in our country but what about the people that were born here legally and grew up here and not get the jobs that they were born to do.

Life as 25 year old coming soon?!

Now that my birthday is coming up in the next month. It's time to start figuring out if I am going to do another year of blogs and changed the name again.

When is the wedding?

Many of you have known that I have been engaged for the past two years. Normally I don't update you guys but I have been getting questions about the dates of the wedding. Right now I haven't got a clue about when we are getting married because I was thinking the last week of May or the first weekend of June but he wants to get married at the end of June. I honestly want to do it as soon as we can.

Five years ago, my cousin welcomed her first child. A little boy. We are so thankful to be able to spend the last four years on his birthday but this year since I had to work, I could not go up! I hope that you have a great birthday!

Something was said the other night that I wanted to find out more information. The lady claimed that this is the first time since Obama took office that I haven't paid Five dollars. Everyone knows that gas prices have nothing to do with the presidents! Here's a map that I found. Obama took office in January 2009

As you can tell that Gas prices hit an all time high right before Obama was ever elected president. Some people need to do their researched before they open their mouth!

Second Burton in Row

Last Friday was time for my second Burton in the row but it did not turned out the way that I was expecting.

In Alaska part 3!

This past week, I have posted In Alaska part 1 where I talked about how God changed my life in a big week, I also posted in alaska part 2 where I talked about the seasons that you experience there. Today's part which should be the final part.

I am so thankful to all the friends that I made while I lived there. I am pretty sure that when you go from city life to country life that it's a big change. I met the person that made me happy for the longest time ever. He will always be someone that I wish to keep in contract with but now things have changed and I am moving on. I am thinking about going up there for a visit. I will keep you update.

Changing schools was hard because for so long the only time that I would change school is to go to the next grade so like (middle and high school). I was so used to going to a school that was not only big but many students while Alaska was small.

On the last day that we lived in alaska was crazy, I went to school to say goodbye and thank many of my friends for being there for me. God had closed that journey and I am sure that I would love to come for a visit.

During our first summer up there, I must say that it was different in so many ways then it is where I live now. You see, blogging it doesn't affect the way that I had saw it. It was once in the lifetime. Lately, I have been thinking about going for just a visit. Alaska's summers are 22 hours of daylight and trust me you need something dark to cover up the window with to be able to see in. We spent two summers like this.

Don't even get me start on the winter, I can't necessary say that they even had fall because it's not like here at all. You get rain here all the time during the fall, winter, and spring months. During the winter, snow starts falling around mid September to end of March so that way something to get used to.

13 years and counting!

This is going to be the last blog that I do about this post! I can't believe that we are on 13  years and counting!

In Alaska part 1

In June of 2006, My life changed in so many ways. I could not explain it at all until the day that we were talking to my dad. You see my dad works for Fred Meyer and they don't often give their members a shot of management. He applied for food manager and made it happen. I knew that we were going to move to Alaska.
We finally made the move to Alaska about the first week of October and yet I told no one of my plans to move to Alaska until it happen. When it came to Alaska the only thing that I heard was they don't have houses now looking back it, I giggled to that.
I started to go to school and make my way through this new journey that I was going through alone. I only had my parents and my sister there to support me and we all know how my sister is with that. Not there at all.
Towards the end of the first year up in Alaska, I met someone! I could not believe that he was so sweet. I speak fondly of him and still do. The choice that I made was the hardest choice that I ever had to make. You will find out about this in part 2 on Friday!

This morning was the first morning that I returned to Burton and let me tell you something. It's a different feeling to be there this year.  It's like I had been in one class and with one teacher for so long and now she's gone and I might finished my last year there.

Deep cleaning room tips!

Here's what works for me to do when I am cleaning my room!

1. make sure that everyone is asleep or taking a nap.

2. put some music on that can't wake up anyone.

3. turn off things that can distract you from cleaning.

Today my mom and I had a movie date and we went to see expendables 3 and I must admit that it was really good and I like it.

Favoring one child over again!

I love how my dad doesn't see that he is favoring his oldest over the other child that he has. It's almost like he doesn't want to deal with her bullshit but then again she had him under her thumb since the day that she was born nearly 2 years and 3 months

I love how you are complaining when my mom brings me over there and you made a deal that you would take me home but no you haven't done that for a while. So I wonder if you forgot about it.

my computer is coming back

It's crazy to think that on Thursday that I will have my computer back. I have to reupload all of my computer things and that will take a few days

Movie review: Lucy!

I need to start by saying that I was looking forward to seeing this movie. It was supposed to be good. However when you got into the movie and saw what it was about. Let's just say that I am not going to buy this movie on DVD.

Return to Living Free

Last week, I marked my return to living free. I was looking at it and hadn't been able to go since March and since last week was my return, it's going to be my second week.

New phone!!!

On Friday I got a new phone and it's really the first week that I have been able to use it and I am afraid that I am going to lose it. It's been four years since I had a phone to call my own and I am glad that I don't have to use my mom's anymore

There are different types of this recipe and so I decided to write down how I make this and of course this our first recipe making.

1. 1 bag of tater tots
2. 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup
3. 1 can of green beans

Oven: 375* degrees

Movie review:Dawn of the Planet of the Apes

I saw this movie on the 13th with Jaret and I must say that it was really good. Normally I can tell when I like or don't like by the amount of times that I go to the bathroom and I did not go to the bathroom once.

Movie review: Captain America

We went to see Captain America on Thursday, July 10th, and of course thinking that it's supposed to have all of your favorite superheros. Let me say that this movie was really boring and knowing that I still owed Jaret on this movie. I was not looking forward to seeing it again

So yesterday, we had dairy queen for dinner and I must say that both the youngest one and mine were burnt. I don't think that I have ever had burnt dinner from dairy queen in my life but last night we did. Why would you even serve that to customers?!

Killed another bird

So this afternoon after we got back from a movie, we were letting the dog out and again he got a hold of a bird. I should just taken care of the bird and make sure that the bird was okay. So now we are down to three birds and we had to move the nest.

Thoughts: Sister's coming back

I am really nervous that my sister is coming back but you know what I am still going to praise papa on how he is creating my life to be. I am just faith in him and trust him.

Restarting my computer

Last night I had to restart my computer since I tried many attempts to get my mouse to work and it would not work so I had no choice. Knock on wood that it will be better.

Today I get the best day of the year to do Burton for the last time before school gets out for the summer. What am I kidding? They get out today. After a really long night thanks to my neighbor who thinks that it's okay to keep his kids up until 11pm and be really loud. I only got three hours of sleep and this morning was really hard. I can't believe that today's also the last day of spring.
