Running from kidsworld

Tonight, we took the girls to the church and of course neither one of them wanted to go into kidsworld. I can't believe it.

no church weekend

This weekend I took a break from going to church. I mean don't get me wrong, I could have gone to the faith center but didn't.

Forgetting Name tag!

This morning I was leaving for school and remember that i was forgetting one important thing for tonight and i knew that i could not get it so I just forgot about it. I was going to leave early but then i knew that i need to be at the school because the teacher needed me.

Volunteering overload!

So today i am now counting two schools that i will be volunteering at and then the church. Am I doing too much?! 

Return of the College group!

This weekend, the church announced that the college group is back on Sunday nights at 7pm! I was so excited about it because that would mean that i would be able to fellowship and worship with people my own age. But the weather is not fun!

Day in a life 1.15.13

It's been almost a month or a little over since I last did a day in a life and it seems like it's either on Monday or Thursday. So I decided to do it on a Tuesday and will have another one on Sunday

Morning- Today I woke up at 5:15 and got ready to leave. Lately I have started to leave my house by 6:10 and normally it works but not yesterday. I got ready to go and notice that i did not get done by 6:10 so now i have another hour which is good. I actually got to Burton about ten minutes early.

Afternoon- This afternoon I got done with most of the kids artwork project. I had to leave around 1:20pm which means the parts of art works that we need to do and finish on Thursday along with folders to stuff

Night- Tonight I got to lead the most powerful prayer and I was so happy about it. Got to pray for this girl that is harping on things that should not be harping. It cost her the friendship. Living Free went amazing.

I love how some people think that i am on the phone during the time that i am at work when i watch someone be on their phone when they are the hired people and i am volunteer. I don't understand how i get yelled at when i do it but when they do it; it's okay.

Shaky Feelings
This weekend I could not help but feel that the staff in the kidsworld were attacking weird around me. It's like that i did something wrong the weekend before. Yes I know that mix up in the number system was a big thing. But what do you expect? It was easter weekend and that it was the first time that i was really in charge of that room.
Something that made me really upset was the fact that someone was like i could not leave you in the room because i can't leave a 16 year old left alone. It's like i am not 16. I am 22 year old. I might look like i am 16 or older a little bit. So i am planning to have a little talk with both girls that totally gave me a wrong feeling tomorrow. It's just that i don't want to hold this in. I know that they did not mean to do it.

A year at home

Today we are celebrating our first full year at the Kmart building.

So today is the second part of the return to church! I am so exicted to be back tonight! I have missed everyone so much!

Return to Church part 1!

So today is the first time that i have went to church since October 16, 2011. It's almost been a month since i was there. I know that we got the church and can't wait to see what they have done.

I normally don't write birthday blogs to my friends but Courtney is one of the most godly girls that i know and i miss her so much while i'm on my vacation! I wanted to wish her a happy birthday tomorrow @ Living free but currently I am on a much need stressless vacation! Well off to bed for me; I'm exhusted tonight. (Yes I am writing this blog on Monday night)

Missing Kids

Everytime that I have to break away from the kidsworld; My mind goes to the fact that I miss their little faces. They are such an amazing group of kids and I miss and love them already! I'll be gone until November 11th!

Fear!

Today i embark on a new experience at living Hope Church in their kidsworld. I did not know what to expect because i normally don't work with preschoolers and just nursey. so when get two toddlers it was new to them and to me to be in a different room. I get why they did it because we are normally fogetten when in the nursey room. I mean that we have people come and check on but here i was with three girls that i have never work with and they were trying to get me to go over to april's room but since i already worked with kindergartens before that i did not wwant to do. I am not always the one that is in control expect for our new nursey room.

Trust issues!

It seems like the church is having trust issues because someone is stealing from the church well now the kitchen volunteers are getting into trouble because someones keep arriving to early and they don't want us back there without her there...It seems like they don't want to trust us or trust the lord!

Camp disappioment

Awaken students are having their campout this weekend. I really wanted to come to that and then i found out that i could not come because of my age. At first, I was not happy about it and i'm still not happy but getting used to the idea of it. I did not know how to explain why i wanted to go to camp beside the fact that god put it on my heart to go to the camp. I can see why it's not a good idea for me to go.
One thing about it being the high school doesn't always end when the student is 18 most time it's when your 19 years old.

Trip to Lloyd Center

Trip to Lloyd Center
This week the CHOICE students are going to the Llyod Center and seeing how it's different from the Pinor Square and the Lloyd Center malls. I have been there before and know what to expect at there. I can't wait until we head to Clackmas town mall and spend the day out there but I don't know when that is going to be. This is our first trip out from the new year.

Awaken

last night, I decided that I wanted to go to living Hope's youth group. So now, I have decided and asked my friend if she wants to come with me to youth group. Mom picks up after it is over and then because it's easier to ride C-tran and get off at 99th and 117th and cross the street and walked the rest of the way to the church because if I get off at the stop by the church, I have to cross the street and that's hard to do because the street is hard to cross.
Need a flashlight and fast!
